Apply discount when booking an appointment

We currently have the ability to change the price of an appointment at the time of booking. It would be great if we could have the option to add a discount/promotion/special offer at the time of booking also, both in the Phorest desktop app and also for clients during the online booking process.
Often we send marketing to guests with a special offer. On occasion a stylist will forget to give the discount to the guest when they are taking payment. This could be avoided if we had the ability to select a special offer/discount at point of booking the appointment.

Hi, you can apply a discount to an service in the Purchase Screen and it will be stored, even if the appointment is for a date in the future.

Phorest Product - any update? I believe I requested this about 6 years ago.

Carl .: there is no update at the moment. We are working on the "basket" logic at the moment. We are looking as part of that work to make the baskets exist beyond the current date which would allow discounts etc to be added to future appointments and to be remembered for that specific appointment. Once I can confirm that we will be able to do that I will update the feedback post.

Agreed - had this in previous software and it was excellent. The discount applied to the future appointment was also taken in to consideration on value of future appointments report in previous software.

I agree. We have just migrated from Salon Control and we had the feature where we could apply one of our discount codes to the appointment at the time of booking, when the client is then checked out the discount code is already displayed.

I’m absolutely shocked that this is not an option on the software, and I can’t believe that this has not been actioned in over 3 years of asking.
