MORE OPTIONS THAN JUST BANNED
K
Kerrie .
It would be helpful to have more client management options than just “ban client”. A dropdown of client behaviour alerts would allow the team to flag past issues and adjust booking conditions (such as higher deposits or non-peak times) without a one-and-done ban.

to be able to add an alert to clients account that shows a red "!" on their booking, for allergies, reaction to product, hygiene ect

We would love a more customizable red flag option. Not all of our guest add their birthdays, address, etc. We would love to be able to customize it to only pop up for clients with no card on file, email or phone number!

Very much needed - please consider, Phorest team.
We currently have to mark clients as "banned" when they owe money on their account, as it's the only way to highlight and draw attention to the issue before they can book in!

To add to this, I would appreciate an option where I could ban a client from online booking specifically. Also, an option to ban from specific stylists and not the whole salon!

Kerrie ., do you currently use notes to raise these situations, or use some other method to do so?
Thanks for the feedback Kerrie, that's a lovely idea. On the things we have planned, we're thinking in adding a new type of note that has much more prominence over the normals, exactly for salons to raise more urgent nuances like the ones you described.

Tomás de Vasconcellos Yes, we absolutely use the notes section and always leave detailed information for context. What we’re really looking for, though, is an option other than a single “banned” alert. Something more like a warning or “please see client notes before booking” flag would draw the stylist’s attention without the harshness of the word “banned.” That wording can feel quite confronting, especially for younger team members when the client is standing right in front of them, and we want the alert to bring awareness rather than create anxiety.

Kerrie .: Makes total sense. We'll look into it Kerrie. Can't give you a timeline, but we'll lean on it. Have a lovely Christmas and big thanks for leaving this feedback!

Tomás de Vasconcellos Hi, Just checking in to see if we had any progress in this?
Tomás de Vasconcellos
Kerrie .: Hello Kerrie! Thanks for checking in!
Your thread gave us a really important nuance that shaped how we're thinking about this. But I can't give you a timeline because I don't have one to give honestly. I can assure you this hasn't been forgotten, it has been challenging to be able to push all the improvements we want and do it all. We'll update this thread as soon as there's something concrete to share.
