Phorest already offers so many incredible features for client experience and front-of-house operations, and I’d love to suggest something that would elevate things even further on the team side—a built-in HR or internal employee portal.
Think of it like a dedicated tab where management can upload:
• Employee handbooks
• In-house protocols & service standards (even better if we can tag with services on the scheduling page).
• Training documents
• HR forms
• Staff announcements
Right now, many of us rely on outside platforms like private Facebook groups, WhatsApp, or other third-party apps to manage this type of communication. It would be amazing to have everything stored within Phorest, where staff already go to check schedules and manage bookings.
Bonus features like team chat (visible for new employees to see old communication, too), push notifications, or read receipts for updates would take it to the next level—keeping communication centralized, professional, and easy for both leadership and team members.
Phorest has done such a great job streamlining guest-facing tools—I think this addition would do the same for internal culture and team success.
