When you use the desktop for a stock check you do not get the option to count items not checked as zero which means that items not counted will apply at the amount the system "believes" to be correct. What this essentially means is that this system for checking stock is wholly unfit as a stock checking tool. How can you spend days checking stock to be faced with a situation whereby you cannot accurately records items not counted as zero? This is forcing an incorrect stock check on your business by a flawed design and needs immediate rectification.
