Automatically resend a confirmation email when a client moves their appointment

When a client needs to change the date/time of their appointment we use the copy and move function to do do but the client doesn't get a confirmation email to say this has been done. Clients very often call or email back to ask if the appointment has indeed been rescheduled, as they currently do not received confirmation of this.

This needs to be made an option and fast. It must be costing so many salons so much time in communication and admin. It would help to add a toggle on/off button so you can decide whether to send the email or not. It worked really well in our previous system. Then if you hadn't sent it, there was the option to send it out manually. Surely clients aren't expected to do the pen and paper method for changing of appointments?

Would love this - or maybe give us an option to CLICK ON A BUTTON TO RESEND a booking confirmation. This would be good for clients to confirm their changes, or just if they cant find their email.

We actually have to create a new appointment and then cancel the old one to make sure the client gets a confirmation. This can create issues, if they forget to cancel the original appointment, for example. It is also an extra unnecessary step. We'd rather be able to reschedule the appointment. Why not send a confirmation of an appointment change?? Or at least have the option.

It would be nice if it would do this after several minutes once the client agrees to a date and time. Sometimes we have to copy and move an appointment several times over the phone before they settle on a final decision, if the software could somehow recognize and send a new reminder after the appointment has been moved and stayed in one spot for like five minutes and then send a new confirmation and reminder that would be awesome.

YES, this was brought to our attention recently, there are many annoyances with phorest that I am NOT loving as we are discovering its uses/lack of in the last 6 months.

yes this would be so helpful, i find i am deleting and rebooking which is a nightmare when a deposit has been taken

Also send an email/text when an appt is cancelled. I get a lot of voicemails to cancel that will ask for me to confirm that we received the message....a text would save making the phone call
